Blair Ryan travels domestically and internationally as the photojournalist for Insulindependence. She is currently working on an assignment that covers the 2010-2011 Triabetes team. Blair drove 10,900 miles around United States this summer to visit with and interview each of this year’s captains. Her Triabetes Media Project gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of the ten individuals with Type 1 diabetes who have accepted the challenge of an Ironman triathlon in order to demonstrate that diabetes need not be limiting and educate others in the diabetic community that exercise is essential in management of the disease. |
