Triabuddies is a program of Insulindependence, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Therefore, all participants are given the opportunity to fundraise to cover expenses associated with their experience.
Triabuddies families will be required to meet designated payment/fundraising deadlines, as outlined in the program application. As program participants, Triabuddies families will receive:
* mentor pairing consultation with Insulindependence staff
* fundraising support throughout the program
* a Triabetes club membership for your family's Triabuddy
* a Triabetes t-shirt and race uniform
* a complementary race entry at the KidsTri2 triatlon in Panama City, FL
* Fri-Sat night hotel accommodations in Panama City, FL during the kids triathlon event
* Group meals for your family at the kids triathlon event
* a four-day kids peer adventure in Zion National Park
* a two-day parents Utah lodge retreat during the kids peer adventure
* VIP access to the Triabetes awards reception at the Triabetes Ironman Weekend
